Intelligent design vs evolution

Are we purely the result of Darwin's theory of natural selection, or were we created by some sort of supernatural being? Is the argument even that black and white? I personally believe the science, but what do I know! Feel free to try to convert me, or explain why you think your belief is the correct one.
